Creative Gigaworks T40 Series II Review 293x300 Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II Review. High Quality, Great Sound.Gigaworks, continues to bring satisfaction to their customers with a new addition of the 2nd generation T40 speakers, the Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II 2.0 BasXPort Technology. It has not just succeeded its predecessors, but actually went a step ahead and surpassed it.

A noticeable modification in this speaker is the front controls. The latest Gigaworks T40 II uses a power knob and shared volume which is enclosed by a bright blue light while the speakers are on. The design of Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II is similar to that of the T20 which include black plastic cabinets with shiny finish, but bigger this time, about twice the size of T20 and it is a bit heavier too. In the back, there is the power socket, the RCA connection intended for the secondary speaker, a docking port for use with Creative’s various mp3 player docks, and the main 3.5mm stereo jack input. Sockets are all gold plated and well mounted ensuring good connection and a long life over the years to come.

Connecting different media or entertainment devices in this speaker is super easy. With its 1/8-inch (3.5 mm) jack, you can hear the breath-taking sound of your computer, MP3 players, gaming consoles, and even televisions and home entertainment centers. In addition to these great speaker features is the unique connector labeled “To Docking Station”. This unique jack will allow you to link Creative’s iPod Docking Station. The T40 II really does allow for more flexibility than most other computer speakers out there.

Although this speaker does not come with integrated subwoofers, The BasXPort technology will give extra loudness in the bass. Another advantage of this speaker is the system’s four 2.5 inch drivers which gives the T40 II great treble and strong midrange.

The Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II may have a higher price, but this speaker is manufactured solidly with incredibly excellent sound, artistic design, and having the three drivers per unit feature makes this speaker a worthy choice for your money.

Creative Gigaworks T40 Series II Review 5 star Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II Review. High Quality, Great Sound. You may read reviews about how these speakers recuscitate hind parts when it comes to bass. I just got mine delivered today and purchased them sight unheard. After a month of research, I narrowed my focus to the M-Audio Studiophile AV40 ($200), Creative Labs GigaWorks Series II T40 ($140) (important to note Series II due to minor desirable enhancements), Creative Labs Gigaworks Series II T20 ($90), Bose Companion 2 ($90) and a Dayton Audio ($150) solution featuring Class T amp (50 watts/channel), 6.5″ Bookshelfs and left the door open for a matching 80 watt 8″ sub ($100)… Creative Gigaworks T40 Series II Review Paraphrased for size – view the full review here.

Creative Gigaworks T40 Series II Review 5 star Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II Review. High Quality, Great Sound.I didn’t have room for a sub on my desk and really wanted some good speakers. I just use them for music. After reading tons of reviews on-line about speakers I finally decided on these. Make sure you get the series 2 though because series 1 has some flaws such as the bright blue light on the front and the power switch being on the back of the speaker. These are great speakers with great sound and look really cool. The bass doesn’t pound obviously but for the size of them it is much better than others… Creative Gigaworks T40 Series II Review Paraphrased for size – view original review.
